Following the many recent deaths and arrests of street racers, four ex-F1 racers have started a free-to-join racing and tuning club to teach young teens and adults that tuning and racing cars can be fun, safe, and legal. The charity, called "Racers against crime" hosts weekly events in rented out parking lots and racetracks where young people can meet up and show off their cars and learn about tuning cars.
The club also rents out race tracks every month and hold competitions and races for charity. Local mechanics and police officers often show up to these events to show and teach young adults about engineering and how they can turn their hobbies into their careers.
